Now It's Yemen Empty
PostSubject: Now It's Yemen   Now It's Yemen EmptyThu May 12, 2011 11:06 am

OK.. let’s see.. America now have combat troops in Iraq.. Afghanistan and soon Yemen. Yemen if handled well could be considered “Afghanistan lite.” There is no doubt that when America move troops and equipment into a country that sends terrorists to kill them.

No matter how much President Obama tries to minimize the “War on Terror” the terrorists keep bringing the WAR home. Why does he continually fight a WAR as though it’s a police action?

Well.. this is where the terrorists win the war.

You see President Obama is now engaging the enemy as a “war” in foreign lands and the same war on their home soil as a criminal act. It makes no sense... it contradicts itself. It telegraphs’ confusion and weakness to the enemy and maybe that’s why America is being attacked.

Trouble is.. the Al Qaeda chapter in Yemen is getting smarter.. making up for its mistakes in Iraq and staying close to the 'little' people...most of whom.. when asked.. deny that there's any militant operation in their midst. Which leaves them at the usual crossroads.. "Should I stay or should I go now?"

Like Afghanistan.. there's no good logic in leaving the place a mess once you're in and committed. But American history is of limited-regret.... they kill the bad guys as they pop up.. then they piss off the collateral damage ..as in.. the locals. Once that gets out of hand.. the bad guys move one apartment next-door and start all over again. America is the exterminator nobody likes.. and nothing ever seems to get fixed.
