Ok OK...Lillie Luther King : )
The decline of lowman hearts started, as I see it, with a certain old fool called Tom74 - who in his obstinate jealousy decided to fight the battle against players who understood the game far better than he did. He chose to call them elite because they would only play with people who understood the game the way they did. This term was then used as abuse by several people who came to a hearts room with no understanding or desire to play the game at hand, but for their own pathetic social reasons (e.g. dutchee, gamesfang, carrie, heartssss, simon etc). I for one have never had a problem with the use of the word 'elite'. Compared to Tom, we all ARE elite.
With regards to your dream...
It would be nice to have a lowman hearts community, where the games would always be of a certain quality. I know there are plenty of lowman players out there - maybe they could get together to make your dream a reality.
A hearts games lobby where people argue about the game of hearts - now wouldn't that be a novel idea? Instead of the retards who cannot play complaining that people are talking about hearts again. Discussion of games is the single most effective way of improving one's own playing abilities.
Unfortunately...your dream may remain unrealised for some time LLK : ) The hearts community has picked up some deadweight - a group of disenfranchised and socially inept individuals who do not have the capacity to learn to play lowman hearts. These individuals are parasites who want to feed on the intellect and charm of others because they have none to offer of their own. They are content to follow the core group of players from here to eternity. Until they can be purged from this community, there will be no lowman hearts area.
