What about that Charlie Sheen?

My opinion...what a great fella!! I never used to like him...he was ok in Platoon, but otherwise pretty mediocre. BUT now....what a great fella!!!

I saw an interview recently that he did with a woman called Andrea Canning. Seems he has been publicly ridiculed for this video. Man...I love it! Pure rock and roll! Isn't it obvious that this man is clever? He has a smart response for everyone of her condescending, judgmental, supercilious questions. This is the most entertaining I have ever known him to be.

What do most people see? They see a man who is self destructing. What do I see? I see a man who is obviously brighter than his interviewer - defending his lifestyle choice to a disapproving audience. Basically he is telling us...telling YOU...he doesn't give a f**k what you think. And quite frankly...why should he? He's a high priest, vatican assassin, warlock, man...he doesn't need to be approved of by you 'terrestrial' junkies!!

I swear...I watched that interview and wished that Andrea would just stfu and let him get into his flow. She really should let the guy rant in his awesome and captivating way!!

Charile - You the Man!!!

Remember the conversation we had on this?

Charlie Sheen has had a wild past life.

The ever classy and intelligent (and don't forget Madam to the stars) Heidi Fleiss has come forward to defend her best client friend during his time of trouble. Heidi says we should all cut Charlie a break.

This is what Heidi had to say about her buddy:

“Look, people need to leave Charlie the f**k alone.

Do they really expect him to go to church when he is not working?

“It’s not as if we see Charlie smoking a crack pipe or anything, the guy just loves to party, and people just don’t seem to want to accept that.

“Really – Charlie Sheen with hookers? It’s not a real surprise, is it? Who’s fooling who here?!”

Gotta love it!

I think its sad that people take pleasure in seeing another human being implode. Charlie Sheen is suffering by what is known in the psychiatric field as 'manic depression'
Its exhibited by intense mood swings, either dramatically high (manic) or terrifyingly low (depression). For these poor sufferers, there is no 'middle ground of emotion'.
What we are seeing in Charlie Sheen now is his manic phase. All too soon, he will descend into his depression, greater than any depression most of us have ever known.
Yes, lets cut him some slack. This poor human needs medication and intense counseling. He will never be cured. He will be fortunate to not end his life in a drug induced coma.

I adore him now : )

He's not bi-polar....he's bi-winning! Just ask him!

He seemed pretty adamant that he won't be crawling into a corner whimpering that it's all his mum's fault. I, for one, believe him!

I have to admit I do love watching people self destruct. Especially in such a grand way. What is even better is watching others make excuses for bad choices and poor behavior. It is classic!

When he first started this latest downward spiral I thought it was just publicity for the show. You cannot even imagine my delight in discovering that it isn't the case. I can't wait, in 5 years he will be another crazy ass, broke and out of work has been just like Gary Busey and Nick Nolte. Some network will try to put out some form of reality show staring him which will be a huge train wreck. I love it though.

Although I live in a celebrity obsessed culture, I do have a different take on these poeple than most. Personally I don't care what any actor, musical artist, or athlete does to themselves. My only use for them is what they do on the stage, on the screen or on the field. If they manage to detroy themselves in the process.. Who cares, it is all entertainment right?

I think of it like steroids in professional sports.. It makes the athletes play better and therefore they are more entertaining right? Then who cares? Let's face it, steroids saved baseball in America.
